![]() ![]() We saw the small meeting when Paul tells Daniel about the Sunday ranch and it’s oil, and it involved $500 and a warning from Daniel but nothing else. He attacks Eli’s greed and self righteousness and his envy. I think Daniel was just trying to hurt Eli as much as possible I mean he passionately hates the guy. Like calling big oil man Tilford a fool and pointing out all the money he’s missed out on, or revealing to HW that he’s actually an orphan (BASTARD FROM A BASKET lol sheeeesh). Daniel seems to revel in cutting people that he despises down by attacking their most prevalent character qualities/values. Go watch it, folks!!! You won't regret it.I’ve come to think that Daniel’s motivation for specifically saying things like “Paul was the chosen brother” and such was because he was attacking Eli’s character in a way that would have the most impact. Also, the director of this movie did an amazing job as well. If you watch it, you'll understand what I mean, he finds himself in situations similar to what we saw in S4, the prom dance and the Justin's last days in the hospital. In a sense, Brandon's character was a bit of a reversed Justin towards the end of the film. Just in case these things are triggering to you, I'd like to mention there are scenes with themes of suicide, self-harm, bullying & death. It's more like a " Beastly"/"A Walk To Remember"/"The Fault In Our Stars" mix. Also, if y'all thought you were getting a "Beastly" kind of film, you're wrong. It's an intense romantic drama imo, totally worth watching carrying so many important messages across. Brandon's performance was freakin spectacular and so were everyone else's performances, especially the girl playing Alex. What did I get eventually? MY HEART BROKEN AGAIN!!! The film was FANTASTIC, it pulled at my heart strings so bad, I'm still crying. I thought it was gonna make me laugh and forget about Justin's tragic end in 13RW and being a huge fan of Flynn, I'd just get a dose of a cute/silly sci/fi romance or sth. I thought this was gonna be a light mood movie. Season 2 Episode 12: The Box of Polaroids Season 2 Episode 6: The Smile at the End of.
